Very artsy, very creative. I'm a big fan of rules discovery puzzles, games which you can beat way faster on the second playthrough. The QR codes is a novelty that provides interest, but I don't know if the obtuse nature is worth the benefit. I do like the hell section that forces you to learn the rule about the gates, and the finale is a fun climax to the story. An excellent jam submission.
Scanning these codes with my phone revealed lines of text. No different than pressing a button to read a sign. Though, if you’re really hung up on it, the whole game can be played and beaten with only two mandatory-ish scans near the end.

With the crown pieces in hand, locate the screen with a giant forge. It might take some blind or quick platforming to reach.
I remember playing this game in my early years in high school. During class we had a strict no phone rule but I was too interested in the game's qr code system to even care about the stupid rule. I wish I could go back.
I can't scan the QR codes because i need to press ctrl, shift, menu key, and then put it into a qr code reader, which worked sometimes when I could press shift first but.... doesn't always
Oh dang, that does really suck… This isn’t a great solution, but you could try on web, where you only need to press escape to exit. Perhaps a screenshot may work too. Sorry about the jank!
WHY would u have to put eveyrthing in QR, it was pain in the ass trying to read them. Also, you didn't even tell me i could double jump. Nice game tho.
i beat it in 12:40:31 without scanning anything and not watching any videos. did i do well? I may have commented here before but i do say the game mechanics are very fun and creative as you learn along the way. I expect more games like these from you JUSTCAMH!

they're completely safe, they just add lore

QR codes don't really lead anywhere. They are just text, if your qr scanner takes you to google search, that's purely due to the scanner app you use.

The game is cool, I beat it in 23 minutes. But please NEVER EVER make me read lore dialogue through QR codes EVER AGAIN

It's a fun and inventive puzzle game. The story and ending were a bit abstract, but it was interesting.

Are you sure you've got the whole crown, including the base of it? Look for the hell forge. If you have that, check the qr code in 3:FVery cool mechanics, I love it :D

not bad, still pissed off about soulclad being abandoned though :-/
